Despite the ongoing harmonization of standards, there exists no common European standard for stainless steel reinforcement. Quite a few national standards apply, having different demands as to the mechanical characteristics of stainless steel reinforcement.
ARMINOX® are certified to manufacture products according to the following standards:
British Standard
- Product standards: BS 6744 and BS 8666.
- Production of BS 6744 grade 500 cold-drawn and ribbed coil and bar 5-16 mm in EN 1.4301, EN 1.4436 and EN 1.4404.
- Production of BS 6744 grade 500 cold-drawn ribbed coil and bar 6-12mm in EN 1.4362 and 1.4482.
- Processing of BS 6744 stainless steel bars according to BS 8666 and BS 4466.
- Product description: Ribbed bar BS 6744:2016, 500 (1.4301, 1.4362, 1.4482 1.4436, 1.4404).

- Stainless steel reinforcement acc. to DIN 488 Grade 500:
